Healing Touch is an evidence-based, integrative therapy that is used along side traditional medical treatments.
Whether you’re looking for deep relaxation or to address a more chronic condition, Healing Touch can help.
The Approach
The goal of energy healing is to encourage self-healing within the mind, body and soul. Therefore, Healing Touch practitioners work along side the patient or client in open collaboration. The practitioner acts as a supportive guide and facilitator who channels intention and therapeutic energy to restore balance to a client’s biofield.
The Process:
Initial Consultation
Before the session, your practitioner will discuss your goals, medical history, and current symptoms. This helps them tailor the treatment to your physical, emotional, and mental needs.
The Setup
You will remain fully clothed (socks and comfortable clothing is recommended). You will either lie down on a massage table or sit comfortably in a chair. Sessions usually include an eye mask, soothing music and can include aromatherapy. Be sure to let your practitioner know if you have any allergies. The goal is to feel safe and comfortable, so if there are any special pillows or blankets you wish to use, please bring them with you to the session.
Energy Assessment & Balancing
-Centering: The practitioner will take a moment to center themselves, entering a meditative state to focus their attention entirely on your energy field.
-Scanning: Using their hands and/ or pendulum, they will assess your energy field to detect areas of imbalance or blockages.
-Techniques: Hands are placed gently on or slightly above your body, moving them in rhythmic, sweeping motions to clear and realign your energy.
Sensations and Experience
During the session, it is common to feel a sense of profound tranquility, heaviness, warmth, or subtle tingling. Many clients fall in a deep meditative state or even drift off to sleep.
Post-Session & Grounding
Once the balancing is complete, the practitioner will “ground” you, helping you return to a fully alert state. You may spend a few minutes discussing how you feel, with many people reporting a lasting sense of peace, lightness, and reduced discomfort.
